If you want to play games, you'll probably want to go and find the latest drivers for the particular graphics card in your Mac from either AMD or NVIDIA.
While you can set up tap-to-click and two-finger right-clicking, it just doesn't feel as nice as in macOS. Unfortunately, the trackpad doesn't behave so well on Windows, either. Your mileage may vary, but it definitely doesn't stand up to macOS. You'll most likely lose a few hours of battery life running Windows-with some reports of a 50% reduction in battery life. Windows, designed to run on lots of different hardware, is nowhere near as optimized, and it shows. However, on the downside, if you use a MacBook, you may see some reductions in battery life and loss of functionality with your trackpad, as Apple designed it to work with macOS.
I'm almost certain it is a driver issue but cannot find any replacements to use.That's because, generally speaking, a lot of games are written for Windows first and will often use DirectX (a Microsoft technology) the same games on macOS will have to make do with different technology, OpenGL, which is cross-platform and well-supported but generally less efficient resulting in lower performance. Windows 8.1 installs without issues, and upgrading from that to 10 fails in the same manner. Installs were performed both trying a dual boot using bootcamp, and by erasing the entire disk and all partitions using the windows installer and letting windows create the partitions it wants. Windcreated via Media Creation Tool on Windows Windcreated via OSX bootcamp with bootcamp drivers (known good from before) Windcreated via OSX bootcamp with latest bootcamp drivers Macbook NVRAM and PRAM resets run multiple times, along with battery disconnects. The install freezes at the getting ready stage. Since replacing the SSD (With an Apple authentic replacement) I am no longer able to install Windows 10. Believe mountain lion struggled with windows 10 iso's.
Mac OS between Mountain Lion, High Sierra, El Capitain and Catalina depending on tests. 64bit OS, 4GB memory, 128GB SSD (So dualboot / parallels isnt feasible) I used to have Windows 10 installed on its own (no macosx dualboot) prior to an SSD failure on my MacBook Air 2013 (mid).
